What it means
Amana indicates F7 E1 is a motor-speed sensing error in which the motor cannot achieve the correct speed for the selected cycle.
Try this first
- Make sure all four shipping bolts and the four plastic spacers have been removed from the rear of the washer before operation.
- See the Installation Instructions for shipping-bolt removal details.
- Disconnect the washer from its power source for 5 minutes.
- If the washer is plugged into an outlet, leave it unplugged for the full 5 minutes.
- Reconnect power to the washer.
