What it means
Amana indicates F3 E2 can be related to the hot and cold inlet hoses being connected incorrectly.
Try this first
- Check whether the hot and cold inlet hoses are connected to the correct washer inlets.
- If the hoses are reversed, connect the cold water hose to the cold inlet and the hot water hose to the hot inlet.
- Make sure both the hot and cold water valves are fully open.
- Make sure both hot and cold inlet hoses are connected to the washer.
- Disconnect the washer from its power source for 5 minutes.
- If the washer is plugged into an outlet, leave it unplugged for the full 5 minutes.
- Reconnect the washer to power.
- Check whether the code returns.
