Amana Top Load Washer Fd Error Code
What it means
Amana identifies Fd as Factory Default. It indicates that the washer was returned to factory-default settings.
Try this first
- Press POWER/CANCEL, then select the Drain & Spin cycle.
- Within 5 seconds, press Extra Rinse, Fabric Softener, Extra Rinse, Fabric Softener in that order.
- When entered correctly, confirm that Fd appears for about 3 seconds and the washer returns to Standby Mode.
Can I keep using it?The washer can be used normally after it returns to Standby Mode.
Repair usually required?Use Amana support if the control does not return to normal operation after the factory-default procedure.
