Amana Top Load Washer HC Error Code
What it means
Amana identifies HC as a hot-and-cold inlet hose reversal. The hot and cold water hoses are connected to the wrong washer inlets.
Try this first
- Turn off the washer water supply.
- Reverse the hot and cold inlet hoses so each hose is connected to the correct inlet.
- Turn the water supply back on and run another cycle to verify that the hoses are connected correctly.
Can I keep using it?Resume normal use after the hot and cold hoses are connected correctly and the code no longer returns.
Repair usually required?Use Amana support if HC returns after the inlet hoses have been corrected.
