Amana Top Load Washer OFb / ofb Error Code
What it means
Amana indicates the washer could not correct an off-balance load automatically and needs the load redistributed manually.
Try this first
- If the error is present, cancel the cycle by pressing Start or by disconnecting the washer power cord.
- If water is still in the washer, run a drain-only cycle.
- Rearrange the clothing and remove items if necessary so the load is level and not overloaded.
- For a large or bulky load, consider the Bulky or Heavy Duty cycle.
- If washing is complete and you only need to remove water, rearrange the load and run a Drain & Spin cycle.
- If the cycle can be paused, press Start to pause it.
- Open the lid and rearrange the clothing or reduce the load size.
- Press Start again to restart the cycle.
