What it means
The dishwasher did not drain completely.
Try this first
- Check that the garbage-disposal knockout plug was removed if the dishwasher was recently installed.
- Check the drain hose for blockage or obstruction.
- Check that the drain hose is not pinched or restricted.
- Make sure the drain hose is installed at least 32 inches above the floor where required.
- Clean food debris from the dishwasher filters and sump.
- Press Cancel, reset the breaker, or unplug the dishwasher for about 3 minutes after correcting the drainage problem.
