KitchenAid Microwave Demo Mode Error Code
What it means
KitchenAid indicates dOn means Demo Mode is on and dOff means Demo Mode has been turned off.
Try this first
- To activate Demo Mode, open the microwave door and press and hold number keypad 3 for 5 seconds.
- When the d icon appears, press Start within 5 seconds.
- The display will show dOn when Demo Mode is activated.
- If Start is not pressed within 5 seconds, the microwave returns to normal idle mode.
- To deactivate Demo Mode, repeat the same procedure.
- After Start is pressed during deactivation, dOff appears for 5 seconds and the microwave returns to normal operation.
