KitchenAid Range / Wall Oven
KitchenAid Range / Wall Oven F9 E0 Error Code
What it means
F9 E0 indicates an electrical-supply or appliance-wiring problem. KitchenAid says the home supply or hard-wire connection may be wired incorrectly.
Try this first
- If the appliance was recently installed, stop using the oven and have a qualified electrician verify the electrical supply and appliance connection.
- Have the electrician verify that the wiring terminals are correct and that L2 and N are not swapped.
- If the oven previously worked normally and F9 E0 appeared after a power interruption, turn the circuit breaker off for 1 minute.
- Restore power.
- Wait at least 10 seconds after power is restored before pressing any controls.
- Monitor the oven for 1 minute and check whether F9 E0 returns.
If the error keeps returning
If F9 E0 returns after the electrical supply has been verified and the 1-minute reset is completed, KitchenAid recommends service.
