What it means
Locked means the KitchenAid Control Lock feature is active. The lock feature disables the control pads and, on applicable models, locks the oven door to prevent unintended use.
Try this first
- This is normally a lock setting rather than an appliance failure.
- Use the Control Lock or oven-lock procedure specified for your exact model to unlock the controls and door.
- If the lock will not clear, turn the oven circuit breaker off for 1 minute.
- Restore power.
- Monitor the oven for 1 minute and verify normal control operation.
