What it means
The air conditioner detected a communication problem between the indoor and outdoor units.
Try this first
- Make sure both indoor and outdoor units have electrical power.
- Check that the outdoor unit power plug is connected if the model uses a separate plug.
- Check the air conditioner circuit breaker.
- Turn power off for about 5 minutes and restart.
