What it means
LG identifies E0 (also shown with CH05/CH53 on some models) as a communication error between the indoor and outdoor units.
Try this first
- If the code appeared during normal use, unplug the air conditioner or turn off its circuit breaker.
- Wait 5 minutes.
- Restore power and check whether the code clears.
- If the code continues after the power cycle, request service.

Repair usually required?Service is recommended if E0 remains after the five-minute power cycle.
