LG Air Conditioner FL Error Code
What it means
LG says CH04/FL can occur on window or portable air conditioners when condensate builds up, especially in rainy or humid conditions.
Try this first
- Power off the air conditioner and unplug it.
- Place a container of about 1.5 liters beneath the rear drain port.
- Remove the drain cap and allow the condensate to drain.
- After draining, reinstall the drain cap securely.
- If CH04/FL occurs frequently even on dry days, request product inspection.
Can I keep using it?Cooling can still operate while this condensate condition is present, but the condensate should be drained.
Repair usually required?Inspection is recommended if CH04/FL occurs frequently even in dry conditions.
