LG Dishwasher IE Error Code
What it means
LG says IE means the dishwasher detected insufficient water while filling; the water level remains too low after roughly 30 seconds to 10 minutes.
Try this first
- Check whether water is available from the household faucets. If the faucets also have no water, resolve the household water-supply problem first.
- Inspect the dishwasher water-supply hose for kinks, pinching, bends, or tears. Straighten it or repair or replace it as necessary.
- Check the dishwasher water-supply valve under the sink. Turn it counterclockwise to open it if it is closed.
- If water still does not flow, check the upstream water-pipe valve and open it if necessary.
- If plumbing or sink work was recently performed, verify that the dishwasher inlet valve under the sink was left open.
- If part of the dishwasher plumbing is exposed to freezing conditions, LG says a frozen hose section can be warmed by wrapping it with a towel soaked in warm water.
- If the problem began after installation or relocation and remains after opening the valves, contact the technician who installed the dishwasher.
- If IE continues after the water-supply checks, use LG support or request repair.
