LG Dryer nP Error Code
What it means
LG says nP means no current is being detected at the heater and normally points to a home electrical-wiring or supply problem.
Try this first
- Make sure the dryer power cord is securely connected to a grounded outlet matching the dryer's 240-volt rating.
- At the home's electrical panel, turn the dryer circuit breaker off for at least 10 seconds, then turn it back on.
- If nP remains, have the home outlet checked by a licensed electrician for correct voltage.
- If the electrical supply checks out and nP remains, request appliance service.
Can I keep using it?Do not rely on dryer heat until the electrical supply problem has been resolved.
Repair usually required?If the home electrical supply is correct and nP remains, the dryer may require service.
