What it means
The washer detected that the door is not closed properly or cannot lock.
Try this first
- Check that laundry is not caught between the door and gasket.
- Open the door and close it again securely.
- Turn the washer off and disconnect power.
- With power disconnected, hold START/PAUSE for 5 seconds, then restore power and try again.
