LG Front Load Washer dE Error Code
What it means
LG says dE/dE1/E01 means the washer door is not closed properly and may be caused by laundry caught between the door and rubber gasket.
Try this first
- Open the door and remove anything caught between the door and rubber gasket.
- Close the door again.
- Power the washer off.
- Unplug the washer or switch off its circuit breaker.
- While power is off, press and hold START/PAUSE for 5 seconds.
- Restore power and try the washer again.
- If dE/dE1/E01 remains, request service.
Can I keep using it?Follow the manufacturer troubleshooting steps and confirm normal operation before returning the appliance to normal use.
Repair usually required?Service is required if dE/dE1/E01 continues after the door check and reset.
