What it means
LG identifies UE as an unbalanced-load condition caused by laundry collecting on one side of the drum, unsuitable items, an incorrect load size, or an unlevel washer.
Try this first
- Pause the washer and redistribute the laundry evenly.
- Adjust the load so the drum is roughly two-thirds full rather than severely overfilled or underfilled.
- For blankets, use the Duvet cycle and wash large items appropriately rather than mixing incompatible loads.
- Avoid machine-washing items LG identifies as unsuitable, such as certain mats or waterproof items.
- Resume with an appropriate spin cycle after the load is redistributed.
