LG Range / Wall Oven HS Error Code
What it means
LG says HS is not an error code; it indicates that the cooktop surface temperature is above 150 degrees F.
Try this first
- If the cooktop is still hot, allow it to cool normally.
- If the surface is at room temperature but HS does not turn off, turn the circuit breaker off.
- Wait 30 seconds, then turn the circuit breaker back on.
- If HS remains, request service.
Can I keep using it?HS is a hot-surface indication. Normal use can resume when the surface is safe and the indicator behaves normally.
Repair usually required?Service is recommended if HS stays on at room temperature after the 30-second breaker reset.
