LG Top Load Washer IE Error Code
What it means
LG says IE can appear when the drum does not fill to the required level; causes include a closed water supply, disconnected or kinked inlet hose, freezing, or a restricted inlet filter.
Try this first
- Make sure the inlet hoses are securely connected and the water taps are fully open.
- Straighten any pressed or kinked inlet hose.
- If freezing is possible, thaw the taps and inlet hoses; use water below 50 degrees C for disconnected hoses.
- Remove and clean the inlet filter, then reinstall it.
- If IE remains after these checks, request service because the inlet valve may be malfunctioning.
Can I keep using it?Follow the manufacturer troubleshooting steps and confirm normal operation before returning the appliance to normal use.
