What it means
The washer is taking too long to drain water.
Try this first
- Check the drain hose for kinks or blockage.
- Make sure the drain hose is not inserted more than about 4.5 inches into the drainpipe.
- Make sure the drain hose is not sealed airtight to the standpipe.
- Check and clean the drain pump filter if your model has an accessible filter.
- Check the door seal area for debris that could interfere with drainage.
- Make sure excessive suds are not slowing the drain process.
