Maytag Front Load Washer LoC Error Code
What it means
Maytag indicates LoC or LC is not an error; it means Control Lock is activated.
Try this first
- Touch and hold the Control Lock button for 3 seconds to change the Control Lock setting.
- While Control Lock is held, the display counts down 3, 2, 1 and then shows LC or LoC.
- START can still be used to pause the cycle, and POWER can still be used to turn off the washer.
Can I keep using it?✅ LoC or LC indicates Control Lock, not a washer fault
Repair usually required?✅ No repair is indicated; change the Control Lock setting
