Maytag Front Load Washer No Water Detected Error Code
What it means
Maytag says No Water Detected, F8 E1, or Lo FL means the washer is not detecting the correct amount of incoming water.
Try this first
- Press Power if the door is locked and the controls are unresponsive; allow the approximately 8-to-10-minute drain routine to finish.
- Make sure both hot and cold water valves are fully open and both inlet hoses are connected.
- Check the inlet hoses for kinks and correct hot/cold connections.
- Turn off the water, remove the supply hoses, and inspect the inlet screens for debris or mineral buildup; clean or replace as needed.
- Check the drain-hose installation, including the 4.5-inch insertion limit and minimum 39-inch standpipe height.
Can I keep using it?Do not interrupt the automatic drain routine; correct the incoming-water or drain-hose condition before restarting.
Repair usually required?If the message remains after the Maytag water-supply and drain checks, use Maytag support or service.
