What it means
Maytag says PF on a cooking appliance indicates a power failure.
Try this first
- Press Cancel to clear the PF display.
- On models that require it, reset the time-of-day clock.
- If a power reset is needed, turn the circuit breaker or fuse off for 1 minute and then restore power.
- Monitor the product for 1 minute to make sure the code does not return.
Can I keep using it?Resume normal use after the PF indication clears and the oven operates normally.
Repair usually required?No repair is normally indicated for a one-time PF power-failure display; investigate further if it repeatedly returns.
