Maytag Refrigerator Temperature Alarm Error Code
What it means
Maytag says the Over Temperature alarm is triggered when refrigerator or freezer temperatures remain above the stated thresholds for more than about 1.5 hours.
Try this first
- Allow the unit to return to normal temperature.
- Press Alarm to acknowledge the over-temperature indicator after the condition has occurred.
- If temperature does not return to normal, follow Maytag's "Temperature Concerns" troubleshooting guidance.
Can I keep using it?The audible alarm stops automatically when temperature returns to normal, but the indicator continues flashing until it is acknowledged.
