What it means
Maytag indicates F0 E5 means the load is unbalanced or too large.
Try this first
- If the error is present, cancel the cycle by pressing Start or disconnecting the power cord.
- If water is present, run a drain-only cycle.
- Before starting a new cycle, rearrange the clothing and/or remove items so the load is level and not overloaded.
- Consider the Bulky or Heavy Duty cycle for an appropriate large load.
- If washing is complete and you only need to remove water, you may run Drain & Spin after rearranging the load.
- If the cycle can be paused, press Start, open the lid, and rearrange the clothing or reduce the load size.
- Press Start again to restart the paused cycle.
