What it means
Maytag says Fd indicates the washer was returned to Factory Default settings.
Try this first
- Press POWER/CANCEL.
- Select the Drain & Spin cycle.
- Within 5 seconds, press Extra Rinse, Fabric Softener, Extra Rinse, Fabric Softener in that order.
- Confirm the display shows Fd for 3 seconds and then returns to Standby.
