Maytag Top Load Washer Fill or Sensing Light On Error Code
What it means
Maytag says the Sensing/Fill light normally indicates the washer is determining load size and balance before filling to the appropriate level.
Try this first
- If little or no water is entering while the Fill light is on, make sure both water supply lines are fully open.
- If you open the unlocked lid during sensing or washing, close it to resume the cycle.
- Do not leave the lid open for more than 10 minutes, because the washer will cancel the cycle and pump out the water.
Can I keep using it?The Sensing/Fill light is normally part of automatic load sensing; investigate water supply only if little or no water is entering.
Repair usually required?No repair is indicated if normal sensing completes and water supply is adequate.
