What it means
The washer lid is not locking.
Try this first
- Check for clothing or other items trapped beneath the lid.
- Remove anything preventing the lid from closing completely.
- Inspect the lid-lock area for detergent buildup.
- Clean the lid-lock area gently if buildup is present.
- Close the lid and restart the cycle.
