What it means
Maytag says a flashing Spin light can be associated with an out-of-balance load or a drain hose that is too far into the standpipe/tub, kinked, or blocked.
Try this first

- Check that the drain hose is not too far into the standpipe or laundry tub.
- Check the drain hose for kinks or blockages.
- If a reset is needed, disconnect the washer from power for 5 minutes and then restore power.
