Maytag Wall Oven Probe / Insert Probe Error Code
What it means
Probe / Insert Probe means the control is looking for input from the meat probe.
Try this first
- Insert the temperature probe into the center of the thickest or fleshiest part of the food.
- For meat with a bone, keep the probe away from the bone.
- Make sure the probe plug is fully inserted into the oven probe jack or receptacle.
- If the message remains, turn off the oven circuit breaker(s) for 1 minute.
- Restore power, monitor the oven for 1 minute, and verify operation.
