What it means
The steam oven has a water-inlet/no-level fault; possible causes include a dried feed pump, an incorrectly positioned suction hose, or low-conductivity water from an osmosis system.
Try this first
- If the appliance has been unused long enough for the feed pump to dry out, contact Miele Service.
- Check that the black suction hose in the water container is present, secure, vertical, and correctly positioned; replace it through Miele Service if it is missing, cracked, leaking, or otherwise faulty.
- If an osmosis system is being used, check whether it can be switched off. Miele specifies water hardness/conductivity of at least 1 gpg / 1 dH (30 microS/cm, 15 ppm).
- If conductivity is too low, Miele instructs adding a pinch of salt to the water container.
