Miele Steam Oven F20 Error Code
What it means
The steam oven is not heating quickly enough; the cause can depend on the appliance series.
Try this first
- On all DG/DGC/DGM models, a large amount of frozen food can trigger F20 if temperature does not rise by at least 35.6 F (2 C) within 5 minutes; switch the oven off and back on, then restart the program.
- On DGC 4000-DGC 6000 and DG 1000-DG 5000 models with an integrated steam generator, push the water container fully in until it engages, then power-cycle the oven.
- On those same models, if the water-container coupling seal is dry, use only the supplied silicone grease on the inside of the seal; do not use oil, margarine, or other grease.
- If the coupling seal is porous/brittle or excess water collects in the water-container compartment, contact Miele Service for replacement.
