Samsung Refrigerator OF OF / O FF Error Code

What it means

Samsung says OF OF, O FF, OFF OFF, or scrolling temperature bars indicate Cooling Off mode, also called Demo or Shop mode.

Try this first

1. Confirm that the display shows OF OF, O FF, OFF OFF, scrolling temperature bars, or OFF for all Family Hub compartments. These displays indicate Cooling Off mode.
2. Use the button combination specified for your refrigerator model. Samsung lists several combinations that must be held until the refrigerator chimes, commonly for about eight seconds.
3. On Family Hub models, open Apps, then Fridge Manager, then Fridge Settings. Select Cooling Off, Deactivate, and Proceed.
4. Depending on the model, Samsung lists combinations involving Power Freeze and Freezer; Power Freeze, Freezer and Fridge; or Ice Off and Freezer.
5. Other Samsung panels may use Control Lock, Ice Maker, Auto Water Fill, Door Alarm, Fridge, FlexZone, Temp., Power Freeze, Lock, Ferment, Preserve, or the arrow and O controls. Use the user manual to identify the correct combination for the model.
6. Some models require holding Control Lock for three seconds to unlock the panel before entering the Cooling Off command.
7. Samsung says service is not required for Cooling Off mode. If you cannot exit the mode, consult the refrigerator user manual for the exact controls.
