What it means
The dryer detected restricted airflow through the lint screen or exhaust vent.
Try this first
- Clean the lint screen thoroughly.
- Check the vent between the dryer and the wall for crushing or kinks.
- Check the vent for lint or debris.
- Make sure the outside exhaust hood is not blocked.
- Check that the vent does not have excessive length, bends, or elbows.
- Run a heated Timed Dry cycle after correcting the airflow problem.
