Whirlpool Microwave
Whirlpool Microwave Registration Error Error Code
What it means
Whirlpool indicates Registration Error can occur when the microwave cannot complete connected-appliance registration because of internet or home-network access, prior ownership, incorrect SAID information, or incorrect appliance and model information.
Try this first
- Make sure the phone or tablet being used for registration is connected to the internet.
- Test the internet connection by opening a browser and visiting a website.
- If the phone or tablet cannot reach the internet, check with your Internet Service Provider.
- Check whether a firewall or other home-network equipment may be preventing the microwave from connecting to the internet.
- Make sure the microwave is connected to the home network before completing registration.
- If needed, use the manufacturer's Unable to Connect guidance to connect the microwave to the home network or router.
- If the microwave was previously owned or connected to another network, follow the manufacturer's transfer-ownership procedure.
- Check that the SAID number was entered correctly and enter it again if necessary.
- Verify that the correct appliance type and model number were selected during registration.
If the error keeps returning
