GE Dishwasher C4 Error Code
What it means
The dishwasher may have filled twice after a power failure, or the float switch, drain, or sump may be obstructed.
Try this first
- Press Start and then Cancel or Reset.
- Locate the float cover near the front-left area of the dishwasher floor.
- Gently tap the float cover to make sure the float is not stuck.
- Check the sump area near the rear bottom of the tub for debris.
- Remove accessible debris and restart the dishwasher.

If C4 remains after the float and sump are checked, GE recommends service.
