What it means
The dishwasher is reporting a water drainage fault, and water may remain in the wash cabinet.
Try this first
- Turn the dishwasher off before checking the drain pump area.
- Release and remove the drain pump cover.
- Rinse the drain pump cover thoroughly and remove any foreign objects.
- Carefully remove any foreign objects from the drain pump and check that the impeller can turn.
- Reinstall the drain pump cover and make sure its catch engages correctly.
- If the drainage fault persists, contact Miele Service.
Can I keep using it?Correct the drainage fault before continuing normal dishwasher use.
Repair usually required?Service may be required if the dishwasher still cannot drain after the accessible drain-pump area is checked.
