Miele Dishwasher Inlet / Drain Error Code
What it means
The dishwasher detected a water-supply or drainage fault; water may remain in the wash cabinet.
Try this first
- Open the water faucet.
- If the inlet filter is dirty, switch the dishwasher off, unplug it, close the faucet, remove/rinse/reinstall the filter and seal correctly, then reopen the faucet slowly and check the connection for leaks.
- Remove kinks or loops from the inlet hose and replace it if damaged. Miele lists flow pressure below 50 kPa (0.5 bar) as too low.
- Clean the filter combination thoroughly and reinstall/lock it flat in the wash-cabinet base so coarse debris cannot enter the circulation system.
- With the dishwasher off and unplugged, remove standing water, remove and rinse the non-return valve, remove foreign objects from the drain pump, and verify that the pump impeller turns; use caution because glass fragments may be difficult to see.
- Check the drain hose for kinks, blockages, deposits, or excessive tension and correct or replace it as needed.
- If the Miele Waterproof system has reacted, close the faucet and disconnect power; the drain pump will continue until power is removed.
- If the fault continues, arrange Miele service.
