Miele Dishwasher Salt Error Code
What it means
The Salt indicator is on; it may remain lit for a while after salt is added, and combination tablets can also leave the indicator illuminated.
Try this first
- If salt was just added, allow time for it to dissolve; the Salt indicator should go out on its own.
- If you use X-in-1 combination tablets, activate the dishwasher's X-in-1 function if available and use a 55-degree or Automatic program as directed by Miele.
- Keep rinse aid and dishwasher salt filled so the water softener remains active.
Can I keep using it?The Salt indicator can be a normal refill or operating-status reminder rather than a hardware fault.
Repair usually required?No repair is indicated when the Salt indicator behaves as described by Miele.
