Miele Dryer F66 Error Code

What it means

The dryer airflow is restricted, most often because the lint filters or plinth/toe-kick filter are dirty, wet, damaged, or airflow around the dryer is obstructed.

Try this first

1. Clean the lint filters after every drying program and clean the plinth filter whenever the filter symbol or cleaning prompt appears.
2. If washing the lint filters, dry them thoroughly before reinstalling; wet filters can cause further drying faults.
3. Clean the plinth/toe-kick filter thoroughly, squeeze out the water, and let it air-dry if necessary; do not reinstall it dripping wet.
4. Inspect the heat exchanger for visible lint. Do not touch the sharp cooling fins; if vacuuming, use a dust brush lightly so the fins are not bent or damaged.
5. Reduce the load if the drum is overloaded and remove anything blocking the ventilation grille below the door.
6. For condenser dryers in a small or warm room, open a door or window while drying to provide ventilation.
7. If the plinth filter has white detergent residue, wash the filter by itself with no detergent at a maximum 105 F (40 C) and 600 rpm.
8. Replace a deformed, torn, or damaged plinth filter that no longer sits flush.
9. If the fault remains after these checks, contact Miele Service.
