What it means
Locked means the washer safety lock is active, so temperature, spin speed, or options cannot be changed during the program.
Try this first
- The safety lock releases automatically at the end of the program.
- On applicable models, press and hold Start/Stop until the elapsed time completes and Controls unlocked appears.
- On other applicable models, press Start/Stop, select Safety lock off or deactivate, and confirm with OK.
Can I keep using it?Locked is a control-lock status rather than a hardware fault.
Repair usually required?No repair is indicated when the safety lock can be released using the model-appropriate Miele procedure.
