What it means
Water Inlet Fault means the washer water inlet is blocked or restricted.
Try this first
- Terminate the wash program, open the faucet, then select and start the program again.
- If the inlet filter is dirty, clean it using the Miele procedure and reinstall it before use.
- Remove any kinks or loops from the water inlet hose.
- If household water pressure is too low, contact the facility manager or a plumber.
- If Miele identifies a technical fault or the condition persists after the water supply is corrected, contact Miele Service.
Can I keep using it?Correct the incoming-water problem before continuing normal washer use.
Repair usually required?Service may be required if the washer still reports Water Inlet Fault with the faucet open, a clean filter, an unrestricted hose, and adequate water pressure.
