Whirlpool Front Load Washer Lo FL Error Code
What it means
Whirlpool indicates Lo FL means the washer is not detecting the correct amount of incoming water.
Try this first
- Press Power if the control is unresponsive; the washer may run a drain routine for approximately 8 to 10 minutes.
- Wait until that drain routine finishes before attempting other washer functions.
- Make sure the Hot and Cold water valves are fully open and both inlet hoses are connected.
- Check the inlet hoses for kinks.
- Make sure the hot hose is connected to the hot valve and the cold hose to the cold valve.
- Inspect the water inlet screens for mineral buildup or debris.
- If an anti-flood device is installed, note that the manufacturer recommends a direct water-supply connection for optimum performance.
- Make sure the drain hose does not extend more than 4.5 inches (113 mm) into the drainpipe or laundry tub.
- Do not seal the drain hose into the drainpipe with tape; leave an air gap.
- Make sure the top of the standpipe is at least 39 inches (99 cm) above the floor.
